With the support of International Renaissance Foundation NGO “Change Agency “Perspectives” as а part of Kharkiv Expert Group in Health Care Reform together with the Healthcare Department of Kharkiv Regional State Administration implements the project aimed at gradual deployment of the primary health care reform in the Kharkiv region, starting from Chuhuyv сity.

Under the project it is planned to reorganize the Centers of primary health care into autonomous communal enterprise, the launch of several independent family doctor practices (private entrepreneur-based), providing conditions for free and conscious choice of family doctor by patients.

Among other things, the project includes a training for doctors and nurses in Chuhuiv and Kupiansk cities by modern approaches in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of key nosologies in the region. Training is conducted by Kharkiv expert group specialists and invited experts.

The project will raise the level of public satisfaction with medical services and will ultimately lead to the gradual increase in the quality of medical services provided to population. As a result of the project it is expected to create a package of legal and organizational instruments that can be used for reorganization of family medicine in other regions of Ukraine.
