On April 18 – 22, 2017 Anke Meester-Delver, pediatric rehabilitation physician in Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands, will conduct a training session on the topic ICF/CAP/C-RAP/GAS for employees of baby homes and centers for early intervention.
During the training session, Dr. Anke Meester-Delver will acquaint the participants with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) application specifics, and share her experiences and present the Capacity Profile (CAP) and method of its implementation.
The Capacity Profile (CAP) has been developed by Anke Meester-Delver based on clinical experience in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. The CAP classifies additional care and fits into the framework of the ICF.
The trainer will also pay attention to other tools developed on the ICF basis: C-RAP (Children’s Rehabilitation Activities Profile) and GAS (Goal Attainment Scale).
Participants from different baby homes under the guidance of the experienced trainer will learn to use these tools on their own cases.
The training session is conducted under the Project “Creating a new model of family-and-community oriented services for children with special needs” supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
