On April 24 – 28, 2017 the training session “Principles of BOBATH therapy - Fundamentals of facilitation - Decision making based on ICF” will be conducted in Kharkiv regional specialized baby home #1 for representatives of baby homes from eastern regions of Ukraine.

Tatiana Roik, BOBATH therapist from Germany, and Irina Gordienko, BOBATH doctor, will share their knowledge and experience with the participants during next five days.

During the first training day, Tetyana Roik told the participants about the particularities of BOBATH therapist practice in Germany, acquainted the audience with the history of BOBATH therapy and its basic principles.

Representatives of various baby’s homes will receive information about different BOBATH therapy techniques. On the first day the participants practiced technique called "Congratulation to the body" under the guidance of experienced trainers.

The training session is conducted under the Project “Creating a new model of family-and-community oriented services for children with special needs” supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
