On May 4, 2017 Olena Reshetnyak, international business trainer, and Irina Glushchenko, CFO, business consultant, conducted the second training on financial management of healthcare organization for employees of the Kharkiv Regional Specialized Baby Home # 1.
Together with trainers participants defined the main objectives of financial planning. They concluded that it is necessary to determine the prices of services during the financial planning stage. Trainers presented a method of financial planning for the baby home’s staff, explained the purpose of different financial budgets. In addition, the experts stressed the importance of interconnection between different departments of the organization during the financial planning process.
During the training session the participants determined cost centers of their organization, also discussed and agreed the principles of total costs distribution between the different centers.
At the end of the training one of the participants noted: “Financial planning is management of the future of our organization. It allows us to optimize business processes in the organization, and it certainly will benefit our customers.”
The training session was conducted under the Project “Creating a new model of family-and-community oriented services for children with special needs” supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
