On September 6, 2017 a general meeting of Baby Home #2 took place in the conference hall "Beit Dan", where organizational strategy and priorities were discussed.

Change Agency "Perspectives" facilitated strategic planning for Baby home #2 during several months. Strategic planning working group consisted of representatives of administrative team of the Baby home and specialists of the Agency.

The meeting was moderated by Elena Reshetnyak and Mykhailo Dovgopol. This event was attended by Baby home’s employees from all units, parents of children with special needs, representatives of primary healthcare and services for children.

The meeting focused on partnership, dialogue between specialists and clients. In addition, the participants were able to hear about new requirements the Customer posed for the baby home due to the changes in the system at the country level. Also further actions for the development of Baby home were discussed.

One of the participants summed up: "We should be not just a team limited to the job descriptions, but a motivated, well-coordinated, incentive team. A team with shared values, visions and priorities".

The meeting was conducted under the Project “Creating a new model of family-and-community oriented services for children with special needs” supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
