“Perspectives” launches Women’s Leadership Studio
On November 24 Women's Leadership Studio coordinated by Change Agency Perspectives was launched at the Center for Gender Culture within the framework of the "Centre of Gender Culture as a Platform for empowerment of women and youth" EU-funded project.
The first group of leaders included 21 representatives of amalgamated communities, local self-government, and civic activists from Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Tetiana Chernetska facilitated the first part of the training and helped leaders to "put their gender glasses on". The participants visited the Museum of Women’s and Gender History, learnt about the mechanisms of gender construction, analyzed gender inequality in various spheres of public life, and tried to use a gender sensitive language.
In the afternoon Olena Reshetnyak worked with the participants on discovering of main features of the leaders, analyzing of strategies for goals achieving and identification of personal leadership style.
At the end of the training, each participant set up three tasks for the development of personal leadership skills to get ready for the next training session that will be held on December 15, 2018.
Soon we will announce call for applications for participation in the Women's Leadership Trainings for health care representatives.
