Go Women: Women-entrepreneurs enhanced their economic thinking

On 16 December 2015 Olena Reshetnyak conducted training “Development of women-entrepreneurs’ economic thinking” at the Prospetto cafeteria.

Participants of the Growth of Women’s Business and Leadership Program studied principles of economic thinking utilizing educational games. During the games entrepreneurs grasped how an economic system impacts peoples’ behavior and learned to identify a rational way of managing resources.

Practical assignments helped the women to divide tasks in a rational way and estimate advisability of hiring new employees.

Role play “Efficient market” modelled real relations between buyers and sellers. Participants agreed about the prices of transactions, analyzed financial results and discussed how sellers’ mistakes influence the market.

In the new year women-entrepreneurs plan to continue sharing experience and develop their skills and knowledge.
