On October 19, 2016 at the conference “Health care organization and management “ in Kiev Mykhailo Dovgopol, NGO “Change Agency “Perspectives” Board member, together with Valentyn Krylovetskyi, “ILF” company lawyer, presented the Chuguyv project of Kharkiv expert group in healthcare reform. More than 60 chief physicians of primary healthcare institutions participated in this event.

There was a lively discussion on questions of Primary healthcare centers autonomy and new format of family doctors work. Such questions as: "How many staff dismissals are planned?", "Can today’s funding cover all the needs of reform?".

"After our presentation, we talked with several chief physicians. They showed an interest in our work. It became clear - legal autonomy did not mean real management autonomy. As many state governing bodies do not wish to give autonomy to doctors. We are invited to present the results of our work at the next conference. Also we established working contacts with Kramatorsk, Artemivsk primary health care centers. We will continue development of the like-minded people network!
